# Free credits

Every new Nodaro Cloud account gets a one-time grant of **1,500 credits**.
Nothing to buy, nothing to enter — the credits land the first time you open
the app after signing up.

## When activation asks for a payment method

Occasionally the grant is not applied automatically. When that happens the
account works normally, and a banner at the top of the app offers to
**activate** the free credits by adding a payment method:

- It is a standard card-on-file step handled by Stripe. **Nothing is
  charged**, and no subscription is started.
- The credits arrive as soon as the card is saved.
- A card can activate free credits on **one** account.

If you believe your grant should have applied and you would rather not add a
card, contact support from the same account and we will look into it.

## What the grant covers

The grant is the free tier's spending balance: it works with every model the
free tier can run, outputs are watermarked until the first purchase, and there
is no daily cap. Details of what each tier includes are on the
